The River Thames in Molesey provides the ideal environment to introduce young people to water activities.
Being on the water is not just about learning to paddle, sail or row. We help children develop skills that they will keep with them and use throughout their working life and beyond – leadership, teamwork, problem solving and flexibility.
During the summer months we kayak, row, sail and learn to drive powerboats. It’s great fun!
We are a Royal Yachting Association recognised training centre and have instructors qualified to deliver the National Powerboat Scheme – levels 1 and 2.
We’re also a British Canoeing accredited club – this accreditation demonstrates the high standard of training provided, our robust operating procedures and that we have the expertise required to deliver these adventurous activities safely.
Recently, we’ve formed a partnership with Surrey Search & Rescue and are working together to establish an educational programme of water safety awareness activities across Surrey.
Both organisations believe that young people growing up in Molesey’s riverside community should understand how to use the river safely and that opportunities to get afloat should be readily available.
